Pretoria police found the body of a man missing since Wednesday in Brooklyn, police said on Monday.
”Mohammed Asif Ayob (20) went missing on Wednesday evening. A post-mortem will be held to determine the cause of death,” Inspector Anton Breedt said.
Two men, aged 28 and 43, were arrested and will appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court soon.
A spokesperson for Ayob’s family said they are absolutely devastated.
Said Solly Noor: ”He was a young man full of life. He was found last night between 9.30pm and 10pm.
”The family is convinced it was a hijacking and robbery.”
Ayob, also known as ”Vickies”, went missing on Wednesday, but police recovered his white BMW M3 outside a house in Waterkloof. — Sapa
