Christi (Chris) de Beer-Procter (she/her) is an independent photojournalist based in Cape Town, South Africa. She specialises in documentary and portraiture with a particular interest in stories about social justice, particularly LGBTQ rights, gender, women’s rights and disability rights. She is also a member of NATIVE, an international collective of photojournalists from underrepresented regions.
